Reflection
There are days when it feels like all your efforts go unnoticed. The work you do at home, in ministry, at your job, or in prayer does anyone see it? Does it even matter?
God answers with a resounding yes.
Paul reminds us that when we work for the Lord, it is never in vain. That means your unseen acts of kindness, your patient prayers, your faithful service they all matter. Even if no one thanks you, heaven sees.
Imagine a teacher pouring into young lives, day after day, not knowing which seeds will grow. Or a parent praying in secret for their child, unsure if the prayers make a difference. Or a church member serving behind the scenes, quietly holding things together. God sees it all and promises it’s not wasted.
Ellen White’s words assure us: “Not one sincere prayer is lost.” Not one tear. Not one sacrifice. Every effort done in love for God becomes part of His eternal work.
So stay faithful. Keep going. What you do matters more than you know.
Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Lord, remind me that my labor for You is never in vain. When I grow tired or discouraged, lift me up with the hope that You are working through every act of love and obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
