Bible Verse
“And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”
— Genesis 5:24 (KJV)
Ellen G. White Quote
“Communion with God is the life of the soul. It is not a something which we may interpret, but a living connection with a personal God.”
— Ministry of Healing, p. 514
Reflection
Enoch’s story is told in just a few lines, yet it says something powerful: He walked with God. It wasn’t about a dramatic miracle, a famous position, or even preaching to thousands. His legacy was his daily fellowship with the Lord.
What does it mean to walk with God? It means inviting Him into every part of your day not just during prayer time, but while you work, make decisions, care for your family, and face challenges. It’s an ongoing friendship.
Ellen White reminds us that true spiritual life is not about rituals, but relationship. When we walk with God, we experience peace, direction, and joy even in ordinary moments.
The goal is not perfection, but presence His presence with us, and our willingness to stay close.
