Reflection
Trusting God is easy to say but much harder to live, especially when we don’t understand what’s happening. Proverbs 3:5,6 calls us to let go of control, stop relying solely on our own thinking, and allow God to lead. It doesn’t say, “Figure everything out,” but “Acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.”
That’s powerful. When we surrender our plans, questions, and even our fears, God steps in as our guide.
Think of a GPS. It doesn't show you the whole map at once it gives you one turn at a time. God often works the same way. He doesn’t always reveal the full plan, but He gives us enough light to take the next step.
Take a student choosing a college or career path. They pray, they research, and still feel unsure. But instead of panicking, they choose to trust. They ask God daily, “Show me the next step.” Over time, doors open, people come into their life, and direction becomes clearer.
Or a family thinking of moving to a new city or country. The risks seem high, and not everything makes sense. But they feel God’s gentle push and choose to lean on His understanding not just their own. In time, they see how His plan was better than anything they imagined.
Ellen G. White reminds us: worry is blind. It can't see the future. But God can. He sees the full picture past, present, and future and He lovingly leads us through it one step at a time.
