Reflection
Life can feel unpredictable unexpected events, health scares, job insecurity, relationship struggles. But in all of it, God offers us a place of refuge. Proverbs 18:10 paints a vivid picture: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower.” Not just a shelter, but a fortified place of safety. When we run to Him, we find peace.
Imagine a child during a thunderstorm, running to a parent for comfort. The storm doesn't disappear, but the child feels safe in their arms. This is the same comfort we find when we call on the name of Jesus.
We’ve seen it in real life:
A young couple facing an uncertain future, kneeling together and asking God to lead.
A student overwhelmed by exams, whispering a prayer for strength.
A single parent unsure of how to make ends meet, but trusting that God will provide.
