Bible Verse
“The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.”
— Psalm 145:14 (KJV)
Ellen G. White Quote
“The weaker and more helpless you know yourself to be, the stronger will you become in His strength. The heavier your burdens, the more blessed the rest in casting them upon the Burden Bearer.”
— The Ministry of Healing, p. 72
Reflection
Falling whether in weakness, failure, or sorrow can feel like the end of hope. But Scripture reminds us that the Lord upholds those who fall. He does not discard the broken; He lifts them gently.
Ellen White offers a comforting reminder: when we recognize our helplessness and lean into God’s strength, we actually become stronger. There is no shame in falling when we fall into His arms.
God does not expect perfection He desires trust. When we are bowed down by life’s burdens, He is near to raise us up with compassion and restore us with grace.
