Bible Verse
“And God remembered Noah…”
— Genesis 8:1 (KJV)

Ellen G. White Quote
“The bow in the cloud is a token of the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature. The rainbow spanning the heavens with its arch of light is a token of ‘the everlasting covenant’ between God and man.”
— Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 106

Reflection
After the floodwaters had covered the earth for months, it may have seemed like God was silent. But Genesis 8:1 gives us five powerful words: “And God remembered Noah.” That one line carries the weight of God’s faithfulness.
To “remember” in the Bible doesn’t mean God forgot it means He acted on behalf of His promise. Noah wasn’t lost in the flood. God’s eyes were still on him. Just like they are on "you"
Are you in a season where you feel forgotten? Like your prayers are unheard or your efforts unseen? Let this remind you: God remembers. He hasn’t left you behind. He’s working in silence, preparing to act in His perfect time.
Ellen White points us to the rainbow as a covenant sign a promise that God is still faithful, even after storms.

Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Heavenly Father, thank You for remembering me. When I feel forgotten, remind me of Your promises. Strengthen my trust while I wait, and give me peace in knowing You are always near. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
