Bible Verse
"He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name." — Psalm 147:4
Devotion
On a clear night, we can see only a fraction of the countless stars above us. Yet the Bible says God knows them all by name. If He knows and names the stars, how much more carefully does He know and care for you, His beloved child?
This verse reminds us of two things: God’s greatness and His tenderness. He is vast enough to manage the universe but personal enough to care about every detail of your life. Nothing about you is forgotten your tears, your struggles, your joys.
Sometimes we may feel invisible, but God’s knowledge of the stars assures us: you are never overlooked. His attention is both cosmic and intimate.
Reflection
• Do I believe God sees and values me as deeply as Scripture says?
• In times when I feel small, how can I rest in the truth that I am known by name?
• What areas of my life can I entrust to God’s tender care today?
Prayer
Lord, You are mighty and majestic, yet You know me personally. Thank You that I am never forgotten or overlooked. Help me to rest in Your greatness and Your love today. Amen.
