Reflection
We often expect God to speak through dramatic signs thunder, miracles, visions. But in Elijah’s story, God reveals Himself not in fire or wind, but in a still small voice.
This gentle whisper is easy to miss in our noisy lives. But it is in the quiet, humble, prayerful moments that God speaks most clearly offering guidance, comfort, conviction, and peace.
Ellen White reminds us that God’s voice comes with quiet assurance to hearts that are open and surrendered. When we slow down, silence distractions, and listen with expectancy, we begin to hear Him not always audibly, but through His Word, His Spirit, and His peace.
Today, let’s not rush past the whisper. Let’s pause and listen.
