Bible Verse
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
Ellen G. White Quote
“In our weakness, Christ’s strength is made manifest. He gives us power to overcome, to endure, and to reflect His character.”
— Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 7, p. 17
Reflection
We often try to hide our weaknesses afraid they’ll make us look incapable or unworthy. But God sees weakness differently. In fact, He says it’s the very place where His strength shines the most
When Paul prayed for a thorn to be removed, God didn’t take it away. Instead, He responded, “My grace is sufficient for you.” Why? Because God doesn’t always remove the struggle He gives strength within it.
Ellen White reminds us that Christ’s power isn’t revealed in our perfection, but in our dependence. When we recognize our need for Him, we open the door for His power to work through us, not just for us.
Have you ever been at your breaking point, and yet somehow found the strength to keep going? That wasn’t your strength it was His. And it’s still available today.
Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Lord, I give You my weakness, my fears, my struggles, my limitations. Let Your strength be made perfect in me. Help me to depend on You daily and walk in Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
