Bible Verse
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
— Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
Ellen G. White Quote
“The peace of Christ is born of truth. It is harmony with God. The world is at enmity with the law of God; sinners are at enmity with their Maker; and as a result, they are at war with one another. But the peace which Christ gives is a remedy for all this.”
— The Desire of Ages, p. 302
Reflection
Real peace doesn't come from a quiet room or a perfect life. It comes from a mind anchored in God. Isaiah promises that those who fix their thoughts on the Lord especially in chaos will experience perfect peace.
This isn’t just temporary calm. It’s inner stillness rooted in trust. Ellen White says Christ’s peace heals the brokenness caused by sin, confusion, and fear. It's not something we create; it’s something we receive.
When the mind wanders into anxiety or discouragement, we can gently bring it back to truth: God is in control, and He is with me.
Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Father, let my heart rest in Your peace today. Help me to fix my thoughts on You, trusting that even when life feels uncertain, You are my unshakable peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
