Reflection
Storms in life are unavoidable. They come as sudden challenges, unexpected losses, or seasons of uncertainty. But while we may not control the storms, we can anchor ourselves in the One who never changes.
God doesn’t always promise to calm the storm immediately, but He does promise to calm us in the middle of it. Perfect peace is not the absence of trouble it is the presence of God in the midst of trouble.
When we choose to fix our minds on Him, trust Him with what we cannot understand, and rest in His care, we discover that peace is not something fragile it is a gift sustained by His steady hand.
The storm may rage around me, but peace can reign within me when I trust God.
Prayer For This Day
Lord, thank You for being my anchor in every storm. When fear and worry rise like waves, remind me to fix my eyes on You. Fill me with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and help me trust that You are in control. Amen.
