Bible Verse
“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
— Lamentations 3:21–23 (KJV)
Ellen G. White Quote
“Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before God... Nothing that in any way concerns our peace is too small for Him to notice. There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read.”
— Steps to Christ, p. 100
Reflection
A new month can bring mixed emotions either hope for new beginnings, or anxiety about the unknown. But Lamentations reminds us of a truth that never changes: *God’s mercies are new every morning. He doesn't run out of grace or patience. Each day, each month, He begins again with us.
Ellen White comforts us with the reminder that nothing is too small or too heavy to bring to God. Your worries about your family, your quiet tears, your private goals all of it matters to Him.
So as you step into June, do so with confidence. You don’t walk into this month alone. The God who sustained you yesterday is already in your tomorrow.
Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Heavenly Father, thank You for fresh mercies and new beginnings. As I step into this month, help me to walk with trust and peace, knowing Your faithfulness never fails. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
