Bible Verse
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.”
— Psalm 19:14 (KJV)

Ellen G. White Quote
“It is the law of the mind that it gradually adapts itself to the subjects upon which it is trained to dwell.”
— The Ministry of Healing, p. 491

Reflection
Our thoughts shape our character. What we dwell on in quiet moments will eventually find expression in our actions, attitudes, and words. This is why Scripture urges us to make even the meditations of our hearts pleasing to God.
Ellen White reminds us that the mind conforms to what it consistently contemplates. If we feed it with God’s Word, truth, and beauty, it will grow strong in faith and purity. But if left unguarded, it easily drifts toward worry, pride, or unkindness.
Today, let’s be intentional. Let God’s Word cleanse our thoughts and guide our inner life that even in silence, we may honor Him.

Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Lord, cleanse my thoughts and quiet my heart. Let my mind dwell on what is pure, true, and pleasing to You. Shape me from within by the power of Your Spirit.
Amen.
