God’s Signature in the Small Things

Bible Verse
"The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."
— Exodus 14:14 (NIV)

Ellen G. White Quote
"He who has given you His word will not leave you to walk alone unless you choose to do so." — Steps to Christ, p. 96

Reflection
When we face problems, we often look for visible signs of God’s help.
We expect the noise of thunder, the sudden break of a miracle, or a dramatic change in our circumstances.
But just because you can’t see movement doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
Think about the night before the Red Sea parted Israel didn’t see the wind, but it was working all night, preparing their path.
God was creating a way of deliverance in the dark, long before His people saw the first glimpse of the sea opening.
In the same way, God often does His greatest work where we can’t see it changing hearts, arranging circumstances, and opening doors in ways that will only be obvious later.
He works behind the scenes to align His perfect timing with His perfect plan.
Our role isn’t to control the outcome but to rest in His promise: “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Stillness is not inactivity it’s choosing to trust the One who never stops working.

Prayer For This Day
Father, Help me to trust that even when I see nothing changing, You are working on my behalf.
Give me the patience to wait, and the faith to stand still while You fight for me. Amen.
