God Sees the Hidden Faithfulness

Bible Verse
“But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.”
— Matthew 6:3–4 (KJV)

Ellen G. White Quote
“The Lord measures with exactness every possibility for service. The unused capabilities are written in the book against our names.”
— Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 362

Reflection
In a world that celebrates recognition and public praise, Jesus calls us to serve quietly, to give without seeking attention, and to live for the audience of One.
There are many acts of faithfulness that no one ever sees like early morning prayers, quiet sacrifices, hidden generosity, unseen tears. But God sees every single one. And not only does He see them, He promises to reward them.
Ellen White reminds us that even the gifts we never used only  the hidden potential we held back are noticed by God. How much more does He value the faithful service we give when no one else is watching?
You may not get applause. But heaven notices. And that’s enough.

Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Lord, help me live and serve for Your eyes alone. Let me be faithful even when no one sees, knowing that You do. May my heart find joy in pleasing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
