Bible Verse:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” -Ephesians 2:8
Ellen G. White Quote:
“It is only as we trust in His grace that we can be enabled to overcome.” — Steps to Christ, p. 64
Reflection:
Grace is one of the most beautiful gifts ever given to humanity. It is not something we can earn, deserve, or repay it is freely offered by a loving God who longs to restore His children. Grace is more than a divine pardon; it is the transforming power that changes hearts and renews lives. It forgives our past, strengthens us in the present, and secures our hope for the future.
Every time we fall short, God’s grace whispers that failure is not the end but an invitation to rise again. It does not simply cover sin it empowers victory over sin. Grace meets us in our weakness, not to leave us there, but to lift us higher, teaching us to depend fully on the One who is able to keep us from falling. Through grace, God writes His character upon our hearts and teaches us the joy of obedience born out of love, not duty.
When life feels heavy, when guilt seems unbearable, or when the path ahead looks uncertain, remember that grace is not a one-time event; it is a continuous flow from Heaven. It renews, restores, and rebuilds. Every sunrise is a reminder that God’s grace is still available fresh, sufficient, and powerful. Let us, therefore, approach the throne of grace boldly, knowing that the same power that saves also sustains us each day.
Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You for the precious gift of grace. I am unworthy of Your mercy, yet You freely offer it through Jesus Christ. Teach me to rely on Your grace daily not only for forgiveness but for strength to overcome temptation and live a life that honors You. When I stumble, lift me by Your hand; when I grow weary, fill me with Your Spirit. Let Your grace shape my thoughts, guide my actions, and transform my heart. May my life reflect the beauty of Your grace to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
