Bible Verse
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
— Joshua 1:9 (KJV)
Ellen G. White Quote
“The Lord is disappointed when His people place a low estimate upon themselves. He desires His chosen heritage to value themselves according to the price He has placed upon them.”
— The Faith I Live By, p. 64
Reflection
Life brings seasons when we feel uncertain or overwhelmed. But just like Joshua, we are reminded not to give in to fear. God doesn't suggest courage He commands it. Not because we’re strong, but because He is with us.
You are not walking through your struggles alone. Whether you’re facing a hard decision, a quiet battle, or simply a tiring day God is right there, giving strength, guiding your steps.
Ellen White’s words remind us how precious we are to God. You were worth the price of Calvary. So walk boldly not in your own strength, but in the value and victory He’s already given you.
Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Lord, help me face today with courage. When fear rises, remind me You are near. Let me move forward in the strength of Your promises and the worth You have placed on my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
