Reflection
We all carry burdens. Some are obvious like sickness, financial stress, relationship pain. Others are hidden deep in the heart like anxiety, loneliness, guilt, or fear of the future. But Scripture gives a simple and powerful instruction: Cast all your cares on Him.
Why? Because He cares for you.
This isn’t a distant, general care. It’s personal. God knows every detail of what you're facing right now. And more than that He wants you to hand it over to Him. He’s not burdened by your burdens; He’s waiting to carry them for you.
Ellen G. White reminds us that worry is blind, but Jesus sees what we can’t. While we stress over what might happen, God is already in tomorrow, shaping it for our good. Trusting Him means letting go...not of responsibility, but of the weight that anxiety brings.
Think of a child with a heavy backpack struggling to walk. The parent doesn’t just walk beside them, they take the weight. God invites you to do the same: hand it over.
Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Lord, I lay my burdens at Your feet. Teach me to trust You with the things I cannot control. Thank You for caring so deeply about me. I surrender my worries into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
